The purpose of handling the personal information

The purpose of processing personal data is to register the attendees of Prebit competition events.

The basis for the processing of personal data is the informed consent of the data subject in writing.

Contents of register

  • In which pre-event will you participate?
  • Name of the team
  • City / town, where the team is from
  • Name of the team's contact person
  • E-mail address of the contact person
  • Phone number of the contact person
  • Organisation of the contact person (school, company, project etc)
  • Names and organisations of other team members (check the rules for limitations)
  • Name of the game
  • How finished is the game on the scale 1-10 (1=just started - 10=completed)
  • Single game or multiplayer game
  • Resources needed to play the game (pc, Android phone, etc), and / or any login / test account information required to play the game
  • How do the judges get your game? Add link here, or any other option?
  • Size of the game and a needed data, if any

Regular data sources

The data is collected through the application form. In some cases, the information is supplemented by the competition staff.

Regular destinations of disclosed data

We will transfer the application information from an e-form or email to Excel and to organizers and the jury of the competition. The team names and videos of the game might be used in a videoloop in the online-event.

Data transfer outside EU and ETA

The data is not transferred outside of EU or ETA.

Protection of the register

The personal data file is protected by the necessary technical and administrative measures, including server security, data backup, and access and access management.

Right of access

RIGHT OF ACCESS BY THE DATA SUBJECT
The data subject shall have the right to obtain from the controller confrmation as to whether or not personal data concerning him or her are being processed. The data subject shall also have the right to access his or her personal data and to receive the information stipulated by the GDPR on the processing of the personal data.

Correction of the data and bringing it into effect

RIGHT TO RECTIFICATION
The data subject shall have the right to obtain from the controller without undue delay the rectification of inaccurate personal data concerning him or her and the right to have incomplete personal data completed.

Other rights conserning the personal information handling

RIGHT TO WITHDRAW CONSENT
The data subject shall have the right to withdraw his or her consent to the processing of his or her personal data at any time.

RIGHT TO ERASURE
The data subject shall have the right to obtain from the controller the erasure of personal data concerning him or her without undue delay where one of the following grounds applies:
(1) the personal data are no longer necessary in relation to the purposes for which they were collected or otherwise processed;
(2) a data subject withdraws consent on which the processing is based and where there is no other legal ground for processing;
(3) the personal data have been unlawfully processed; or
(4) the personal data have to be erased for compliance with a legal obligation in Union or Finnish law to which the controller is subject.
